OMA Fest 2025: San Pedro Alcántara Set to Host Five Major Music Events This August

San Pedro Alcántara is poised to become the heart of the summer festival scene this year, as ‘OMA Fest 2025’ brings five major musical events to the town throughout August. Featuring a host of top-level artists including Spanish-Romani pop sensation ‘Manuel Carrasco’, the month-long celebration is set to attract thousands of music lovers from across the region and beyond.

Carrasco, originally from Huelva province, rose to fame after finishing as runner-up in the second edition of the reality talent show ‘Operación Triunfo’. His headline performance, expected to draw a crowd of 30,000 people, will be one of the highlights of a jam-packed festival calendar.

Presenting the festival line-up earlier this week, ‘Alejandro González’, Councillor for Youth, described the event as “another fantastic draw for San Pedro as both a cultural and tourist destination”, noting its expected ‘economic and promotional impact’. He also praised the ‘City Council’s restoration of Finca de La Caridad’, which now serves as a “landmark venue” for large-scale events. González went on to say that “this is one of the most important summer programmes in the municipality’s calendar.”

As part of the council’s ongoing commitment to supporting local talent, musicians ‘Los Puya’ and ‘Ñeco’, winners of a local talent competition organised in conjunction with festival promoters, will also take to the stage this weekend.

The festival officially begins on Saturday, 2nd August with the ‘Bella Festival’, which will see big-name acts including Mikel Izal, La Mala, Amaia, Dorian, Crystal Fighters, and Duncan Dhu performing across three simultaneous stages.

Next up, on Thursday, 8th August, is ‘I Love Reggaeton’, featuring international stars such as Cali & El Dandee, Reykon, Joey Montana, Fuego, and Trebol Clan.

The following night, Friday, 9th August, will be dedicated to nostalgia with ‘I Love 90’s’, a tribute to the music of that decade, with performances by Snap, Locomía, Chimo Bayo, New Limit, and others.

Undoubtedly, one of the biggest draws of OMA Fest 2025 will be Manuel Carrasco’s concert on Wednesday, 14th August. According to festival promoter Tone Guimaraens, “tickets are close to selling out” following the Andalucian artist’s recent triumphs at stadiums like La Cartuja and the Santiago Bernabéu.

The festival will wrap up on Friday, 23rd August, with a spectacular edition of ‘ElRow Town Festival’, dedicated to electronic music. This final event will showcase more than 40 international and local DJs’ across five unique stages, with headline sets from Boris Brejcha, Adam Beyer, Loco Dice, and Fátima Hajji.

Speaking about the vision for the festival, Guimaraens thanked the City Council for its support and emphasised that OMA Fest 2025 is designed to be inclusive and accessible, offering a variety of musical styles at affordable prices to ensure wide appeal and strong community participation.

Tickets for all five events are now available via the official ‘OMA Fest website’.
