The initiative, which takes place each Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 1 pm will end with the fifth edition of the tournament, scheduled for July 28-30. “It is one of the most important sporting events held in San Pedro each year, and is now firmly on the calendar,” said García, who stressed that “it performs a great social function because it provides an alternative for balancing work life and family life once the school period ends for the summer holidays”.

Vieytes stressed that it is a completely free football campus and thanked ‘El Langui’ for his work as ambassador of San Pedro Alcántara, and also stressed that it is essential to instil sporting values in the youth with a fun activity, as well as offering an opportunity for building social skills.

He also highlighted the fact that the tournament brings together not only the participants on the football campus from San Pedro, but also teams from outside the municipality that will be able to enjoy the towns hospitality.  Finally, ‘El Langui’ thanked the involvement of the City Council in promoting this initiative.
